Ashampoo PowerUp XP Platinum 2.2 is a program to fine-tune your Windows XP configuration.
You can optimize your system for different uses, such as office work, gaming, media editing or maximum resources (memory etc), and then switch from one setup to another.
Its built in utility, PowerUp SwitchDesk, lets you have additional desktops and switch between them. It also has a Boot Options controller that allows you to view all programs that are set to start automatically and enable or disable them.
Ashampoo PowerUp XP Platinum 2.2 has its own firewall monitoring module that shows you the XP firewall settings and Internet connections.
In the "Windows" section you will have several tabs that you can use to choose the User Interface Options, as well as other general options, as Display, Mouse and SysPads.
In "Drives and Files" the program will provide you with information about your drivers.
In "Boot Options" you will be able to choose a lot of parameters, including User by default, Initial Message, etc.
You can also setup your preferred parameters in Security, Network & Internet, Icons and Apps. |
- It´s really powerful, lets you configure things that are difficult to setup without this program.
